Otherwise, this page is for you if you are able to make a financial contribution to the Naka Memorial Exhibit! The John Naka Memorial Exhibition, formerly the Nanpukai Exhibit has been continuously run with the JACCC for over 60 years now. Its deep history and continuity are only possible through support of the bonsai community and the JACCC! We are in critical need of building funding to guarantee this show’s future.
We have 3 major funding goals we need to cover each year.
– The gallery rental costs for a 2-day exhibit including set-up
– A donation to the JACCC who has historically supported us
– Reoccurring exhibit expenses (material cost, insurance, educational media)
To donate, please use the official donate link which is attached to an independent exhibit account. Donors can be acknowledged at the exhibit or remain anonymous at your discretion.
For tax deductible donations, donations can be made directly to the JACCC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, but beyond the room cost excess funds cannot be rolled back to the Naka Memorial Exhibit to cover additional expenses (**room target hit for 2026)
